Dependencies

This release depends on Microsoft's .NET Framework 4.7.2 - this should be installed prior to upgrading. You can find the .NET Framework 4.7.2 by following these links:

Features

FEATURE 74 - The license configuration option has been enhanced to supports connecting to a cloud based license server, this replaces the legacy global license key and has the advantage of being managed centrally. Once a user has registered and verified their organization email address the license key will be managed centrally. In case of connection issues with the license server the software permits unverified usage for up to 30 days.

FEATURE 75 - Upgrade to .NET 4.7.2, this is required so that DataStar can upgrade to the latest third-party software components and to position the software to be able to support GIT and .NET Core.

FEATURE 76 - Removed support for Subversion, in preparation for extensive support for GIT we have removed support for Subversion.

Resolved Issues

BUG 77 - When running a reversal script for a component with a temporary hash table reference the script fails with a "database connection closed" error. The same error also occurred when finding referenced components if the template referenced a hash table. This error has now been fixed in both the DataStar UI and CmdLine applications.

BUG 78 - When a new item is added to the deployment view it cannot be selected under the basket column. A fix has been applied to resolve this issue.
