Features

FEATURE 83 - The Version Control Status on the Component View update performance has been improved and enhancements have been applied to ensure that the status get updated automatically avoiding the need to manually refresh.

FEATURE 84 - Items can be added to the deployment file using the basket, this feature was introduced to allow a user to find all related components (for example using the uses and used by component feature) and build a deployment that represents a package of related items.

FEATURE 85 - Git repos are now fully supported on DataStar. You can now choose which source control system you prefer, either the centralized version control provided by Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) or the distributed version control provided by Git - you can connect to any supported Git provider such as (Azure Dev Ops, GitLab, GitHub and Bitbucket).

FEATURE 87 - Full support for TFVC added to enable workspaces to be created, cloned and synchronized including conflict management and diff support. This removes the need for users for standard users to have Visual Studio as the complete lifecycle can be managed in DataStar.

FEATURE 88 - CA Rally supported for task tracking, once a repository is defined in Rally it can be used to associate commits with a task in order to fully track changes, enabling this to be used to drive deployment file creation.
