Please note DataStar.CmdLine is also available via the Azure Dev Ops Marketplace packaged as a VSIX file. This can be installed into Azure Dev Ops or Team Foundation to provide access to a packaged task or alternatively unzipped to extract the DataStar.CmdLine binaries.
Dependencies¶
This release depends on Microsoft's .NET Framework 4.7.2 - this should be installed prior to upgrading. You can find the .NET Framework 4.7.2 by following these links:
Resolved Issues¶
DEFECT 136 - When generating scripts an alias is automatically determined for any lookups that are referenced, normally these would be the same when switching databases to re-extract a component from a different database environment. Since 1.7.9.1 these aliases are recalculated when switching environments to ensure that any table differences are accounted for, however the next alias is not being reset correctly resulting in the alias changing which then shows up as a difference. A fix has been applied so that the aliases are reset when connecting to a new database session, thereby ensuring that they are the same between different environments.
